“Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears us up; God is our salvation.” Psalm 68:19
Our Lord daily bears us up. Deuteronomy 33:25 says, “As your days, so shall your strength be.” Both are such beautiful reassurances of God’s continual, daily presence in our lives; His constant awareness of us and our needs. He meets us where we are, very aware of each struggle, fear, and hope. He is our support and our help in all of it. He never wavers in faithfulness. And the help He gives is never faulty or ill-timed.
God is our salvation. We look to Him and He saves us. We take refuge in Christ and learn what it is to trust in His name. It can be difficult to put into words what all His salvation truly means for us. But as we read His Word and choose to believe Him, He makes it clear to our hearts. He makes us come alive, which is something we could never do on our own. We are entirely reliant on Him for everything. In His grace, God assures us that He will never cease to be our salvation, and He will be faithful to uphold us daily.
