Believe in God – John 14:1

“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me.” John 14:1

Believe in God. Believe in who He is, in who Christ shows Himself to be. Believe in how He has proven Himself in your life. Believe in all-sufficient grace. Believe in strength that carries and empowers you. Believe in faithfulness that will never leave. Believe in perfect love that drives out all fear. Believe in the power of the cross that eradicates our debt to sin, reconciles us to a just and holy God, breaks sin’s power and curse, and gives us life that is abundant and eternal. Believe in the steadfastness of Christ and the perfection of His Word. Believe in the work of the Spirit, in your own life and in the world around you.

As you fix your eyes on the God who reigns over all things and has set His heart in love on you, let the peace of Christ rule in your heart. Don’t allow your heart to be troubled. Don’t give in to fear and anxiety. God is faithful. The God of Heaven is for you. He withholds no good and has poured His love into your heart. He is all-powerful and has written each of your days in His book. Every path is full of His steadfast love and faithfulness. Trust Him to be at work, sowing light and joy into your path, preparing you for each step and preparing blessings along your way.

“You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.” Isaiah 26:3

“And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek you.” Psalm 9:10
