“You shall seek those who contend with you, but you shall not find them; those who war against you shall be as nothing at all. For I, the LORD your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, ‘Fear not, I am the one who helps you.’” Isaiah 41:12-13
“I will go before you and level the exalted places; I will break in pieces the doors of bronze and cut through the bars of iron.” Isaiah 45:2
“Behold, I have created the smith who blows the fires of coals and produces a weapon for its purpose. I have also created the ravager to destroy; no weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall confute every tongue that rises against you in judgment.” Isaiah 54:16-17
It is the Lord our God who helps us. There is no need to fear. Those who contend with us and war against us shall be as nothing at all. Because our God is that great and that powerful. Nothing is impossible for Him and nothing too small for His notice. If this God is the One who is on our side, the One to whom we look in every situation, the One who is for us every moment, what reason do we have to fear or doubt? He will not fail us or forsake us. His love will never leave us. He has promised to be with us always, giving us strength for each day and providing for our every need.
“Your bars shall be iron and bronze, and as your days, so shall your strength be. There is none like God, O Jeshurun, who rides through the heavens to your help, through the skies in his majesty” Deuteronomy 33:25-26
“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?…Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us…For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:31, 33-34, 38-39
