No One Like Him – Psalm 71:19

“Your righteousness, O God, reaches the high heavens.
You who have done great things, O God, who is like you?”

Psalm 71:19

No one is like our God. No one can possibly compare. There is none so defined by steadfast, perfect love, and none that display it so flawlessly. None so abundant in wisdom and so ready to bestow it on those who seek Him sincerely. None so amazingly faithful, for our Father is always, always, always for us. None so forgiving, choosing to wash away our guilt and tears when we take refuge in the cross of Christ. None so mighty and powerful, who can contend with our great God who made all things and holds all things together. None so lavishly gracious to us, pouring out blessings and guiding us down paths of righteousness when He could let us take the easy and deceptive road to our destruction. None so kind, so patient, and so compassionate. None so breathtakingly glorious, to the point that we can’t fully behold His glory in our fallen state, and even glimpses of it drive us to our knees in humility and conviction.

The majesty, splendor, power, and steadfast characteristics of our Lord are as infinite as His being. His greatness has no limits, no boundaries, and we can only comprehend portions of it at a time. There is no one who does great things like our God. No one can do “far more abundantly than all that we ask or think,” accomplishing purposes beyond our wildest dreams the way that He can (Ephesians 3:20). And there is no one who loves as deeply, as purely, and as unchangingly as He does.
